Event complete - thanks to all who attended!
It was fantastic to see so many Peer Workers from across Murrumbidgee get together to celebrate their work. We look forward to the next event!
Calling all Peer Workers in Murrumbidgee!
Peer Workers are a vital part of so many mental health, suicide prevention, drug and alcohol services across our communities.
No matter what part of the service system you work in, your lived expertise, skills and knowledge make a real difference every single day. You bring understanding, connection, and hope in ways that only someone who’s been there can. You help break down stigma, walk alongside people through tough times, and show what recovery and strength can look like.
We want to celebrate the powerful work that all Peer Workers across Murrumbidgee do. We appreciate you. Your voice matters. Your work matters. And the impact you have on the lives of others is massive.
Let's celebrate together
If you are currently working as a Peer Worker for a mental health, suicide prevention or AOD service in the Murrumbidgee region, you are invited to come to our Peer Work Celebration Day.
Come and have some fun, get together with your peer colleagues, make new connections and take some time to appreciate the important work that you all do (oh, and eat some free lunch!).
